At the time of writing this post somethings in life are spiralling out of my control but I have decided to turn this in to a positive post and look forward to the future.

In truth I have a lot to be grateful for. There are times that you have to stop yourself and realise that. I've been lucky enough to find a job that I love, one that stretches me to areas I never knew, tests my boundaries and one that I can be creative in many ways. I'm grateful for the unb...

Now I'm not a festival goer I have to admit. The thought of being stuck in the middle of a mosh pit at Glastonbury is certainly not what I'd want to do with my summer evenings. However as music festivals go, Boardmasters has to be one of the coolest and most underrated. Set high up on the headlands of Watergate bay in Newquay Boardmasters overlooks some of the best ocean surf the UK has to offer. The setting could not be more perfect for a day of laid back...

The Hidden Hut is a small rustic outdoor beach cafe located just outside Portscatho on the Roseland Peninsula, Cornwall. A friendly, low-key place run by local couple, Simon Stallard & Jemma Glass, and their team. It’s a great place to eat and unwind in a relaxed atmosphere.

A useful pit stop for walkers and beach goers alike. In the summer months they open in the evenings to host pop-up feast nights, and over the years it has steadily been building a reputa...

Since 1981 Boardmaster's has been an integral part of the British surf scene. From humble beginnings as a small surf competition, it is now one of the biggest events on the professional British surfing calendar; not to mention the music festival. Returning to Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach on Wednesday 10 August, Boardmaster's Festival features some of the finest surfing talent from across Europe.

With a mixture of live music and action sports on...

There is a large charcuterie, cheeses and anitpasti available to any customer. I went for the Ch...

You join me, 100 floors up in air and standing at a grand total of 474 metres off the ground. The Shanghai World Financial Center is a skyscraper located in the Pudong district of Shanghai, China.

Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox it features an observation deck which looks out over the entire landscape of Shanghai city. Opened to the public in 2008, the Shanghai world financial centre is the 8th tallest building in the world and the 4th highest in main land Chi...

After a 20 hour journey that involved 2 flights, 2 taxis and a train I finally touched down in to China. The sights of Shanghai Pu Dong airport were familiar second time round with a mixture of security gates and immigration desks, lined with people all impatient to get their visas checked. I visit China once again with work, to shoot some more products that would soon be incoming to our Manchester warehouse.Last time out it was December and noticeably cool...

Swapping our fully stocked studio in Manchester UK for a small unit in Hangzhou, China for 4 days on business was a humbling experience. Before flying home a colleague took me to West Lake situated in the heart of Hangzhou which is steeped in history and fantasy.

As the sun burnt off the morning mist the lake slowly revealed it’s true beauty. With a stunning backdrop of mountains on three sides, traditional wooden rowing boats appeared out of t...
