How to make the best Eton Mess ever!!

 The classic dessert Eton Mess is a really interesting subject to shoot as there is a limited number of ingredients but there are many ways of presenting it. This was the basis of a challenge I recently set my creative team. 3 photographers, 3 points of view and 3 different versions of the dessert. Before I set the challenge to the team, I decided to have some fun and give it a go myself. 


The challenge was to shoot some food photography for the company marketing department in under 4 hours. That was research, purchase, prep, shoot and edit all in that time span. For a creative person this is really fun but also challenging to fit all of that in to a limited time. Below is my attempt at the challenge, using natural light, a tripod and a couple of wall tiles.

Meringue Nests



Whipped cream

Raspberry coulis
