Luxury Bathrooms

This is the second time I have worked with Rob at RTM bathrooms photographing yet another stunning bathroom. Rob fits all of these makeover’s himself, renovating old and tired looking bathrooms in to spectacular masterpieces. The craftsmanship is his work is fantastic, utilising and maximising the spaces available. The walls are adorned with beautiful tiles, lit with stunning LED inset lighting turning your standard bathroom in to a stunning living space.

Bathrooms are notoriously hard to shoot as a photographer. Often small, tight spaces they are usually poorly light and hard spaces to work in. In the UK your standard bathroom is particularly small and often constructed around the other rooms in the house. Homeowners would prefer to have a large master bedroom and a smaller bathroom than the other way round.

For a photographer this is a real challenge. If you are photographing in small spaces is a decent wide angle lens to be able to capture the most of the environment. A tripod is unwieldy in small spaces but if the bathrooms are poorly lit then rather than boosting the ISO and noise, slowing the shutter speed is preferable and a tripod or monopod will allow this to happen without blurring.
