Running with Roxy #RUNSUPYOGA

Surf girl brand Roxy brought its global #RUNSUPYOGA tour to the UK where 3,000 girls ran, paddled and practised yoga in this now famous fitness event. Organised as part of Roxy’s 25th anniversary celebrations the #RUNSUPYOGA event had travelled the world from Hawaii, France and Barcelona before landing on the sunny shores of the UK at Fistral Beach Nequay. If you think triathlon but instead of rain and mud, it was a sandy beach by stunning cornish coastline.

A three part event started off by getting wet and wild with a 2km stand-up paddle (SUP) in the sea. Bravery from all those involved as the surf was high and the ladies battled the tides to reach a turn buoy before coming back to shore. The next stage was a 5km run up the shoreline of Fistral beach. The day was wrapped up by all those involved with a yoga session.

Roxy ambassadors Natalie Fox, Lucy Foster, Amy Stapleford and Sophie Everard guided the ladies through the activities on the day and showed off what the Roxy brand is all about. Being there to capture the action was such fun as a photographer and respect to all the ladies who competed in the events.
